In this archive he appears as one of Zyuranger’s directors. As his filmography shows, he made his directorial debut the same year (1991) with Zeiram, then served as both director and character designer on Kamen Rider ZO, J, and Hakaider — building an authorial style that ran from design to direction — work that later culminated in GARO, which he created and directed. On Kamen Rider J he cast Yuta Mochizuki, the lead of Zyuranger, in the title role.
